- SIMPLE, FAST, EXACT
High reliability and safe results. Scientifically proven accuracy of 99%. Ovulation test to determine the period for follicle or ovulation
- OPTIMAL SENSITIVITY
Serious and professional evaluation starts with the indicator for actually relevant increases of the hormone above 30 mIU/ml hLH for reliable results.
- SD ONE STEP
Just one step to a reliable result. Quality from the experts - diagnostics for the home. Urine test strips with 4mm width for perfect handling and better readability.
Determine the period of fertility more precisely. Follicular or ovulation occurs 24-36 hours after the LH curve rises. Increase the chances of getting pregnant.
The detection limit of 30 mIU takes into account the individual LH fluctuations of a woman and only shows really relevant increases. Shortly before the time of ovulation, this value increases.
Are ovulation tests reliable?
With the SD-One Step ovulation test, you can reliably determine the fertile days and thus significantly increase the chances of pregnancy. Our SD-One Step ovulation tests are highly reliable and provide safe results.
What should you look for in an ovulation test?
The most important criterion is the optimal detection limit so that an increase in the hLH value in the urine can be detected. Shortly before ovulation, the hLH level increases 10 to 20 times.
This messenger substance is an absolute indicator to know early on when ovulation will occur.
The lower detection limit should therefore not be too low, also because the individual LH concentration in the female body varies from woman to woman.
Tests that are too sensitive with 10 mIU or 20 mIU may already strike too early.
With a value of 30mIU hLH/ml this is excluded and only an increase that is really relevant is measured!
How the SD-One Step Ovulation Test works
Human luteinising hormone (hLH)*, which is normally only present in small amounts in the urine, plays an important role in regulating ovulation and ovarian function during the
menstrual cycle. About 24-36 hours before the mature egg is expelled from the follicle, the LH concentration rises steeply by 10 to 20 times (LH surge) and reaches its highest
value in the middle of the cycle - recognisable by the hLH concentration in the urine.
With this test for ovulation, the increase in this hLH concentration in the urine can be detected, which makes it possible to narrow down the period for ovulation
(also called follicular rupture or ovulation).
*Luteinising hormone (LH) ("yellow-colouring hormone", from Latin luteus).
